Nelson football has 1st win streak: Avirey Durdahl fires 4 TD passes as Hawks beat Reynolds

Max Kirsch and Kyle Pahlke caught two touchdown passes apiece from Avirey Durdahl, and the Hawks’ defense held the visiting Raiders (0-6, 0-5 Mt. Hood Conference) of Troutdale scoreless. 

Sam Lewis, Dylan Barton and Alex Leontyuk made interceptions for the Hawks (2-4, 2-4 Mt. Hood) of Happy Valley, who allowed a touchdown to the Raiders on a 90-yard interception return by sophomore Jordan Samountry.

The Hawks, a first-year team representing a newly opened school in the North Clackamas School District, have won two games in a row and allowed a total of 19 points in those wins. 

Durdahl, a 6-foot freshman, has passed for seven touchdowns in the past two games.
