Jack Layne accounts for 5 TDs as No. 3 Lake Oswego beats Sherwood for 2-0 start

No. 3 Lake Oswego 48, Sherwood 20 

Jack Layne passed for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth to drive the Lakers (2-0) past the Bowmen (0-2) at Sherwood High School. 

Nolan Scott had a three-yard touchdown run to bring the Bowmen to 14-7, but the Lakers pulled away. 

Gabe Olvera caught two touchdown passes, and Justius Lowe and Ethan Park each had a scoring catch.   

Dylan Layne had an interception for the Lakers, who got three sacks and four tackles for loss from Gavin McGuire.
