Century 17, Glencoe 14: Zach Boehler’s 10-yard touchdown run capped the Jaguars’ rally from a 14-3 halftime deficit against the visiting Crimson Tide in a matchup of Hillsboro teams at Hillsboro Stadium.
Glencoe went ahead on Royce Fasel’s one-yard touchdown run and Robert Hendrix’s 60-yard punt return.
Emilio Hernandez’s four-yard touchdown run midway through the third brought Century within 14-10.
Glencoe had two possessions after Boehler’s go-ahead touchdown. Brody Reese got a fourth-down sack to squash the first threat, and Boehler intercepted a long pass on fourth down to end the second possession.
Fasel had 10 tackles and assisted on four others for the Crimson Tide, whose disadvantage in time of possession was by about a 3½-to-1 ratio.
Boehler and Hernandez each rushed for more than 100 yards.
