A.J. Anderson, Cole Plum-Kazmierczak, Nolan Wyers help North Eugene topple Woodburn

No. 9 North Eugene 41, Woodburn 21: Nolan Wyers’ 96-yard catch-and-run score was the longest of A.J. Anderson’s four touchdown passes in the Highlanders’ victory over the visiting Bulldogs (0-2). 

Nathaniel Cook, Cole Plum-Kazmierczak and Jack Lemley also had scoring catches. Plum-Kazmierczak and Dylan Coughran ran for scores, and Plum-Kazmierczak intercepted two passes. 

Woodburn’s Santi Roque blocked a punt, leading to one Woodburn touchdown. Cole Beyer, Tomás Veliz and Micah Nava were key in the running game, and Jackson Pickett made big contributions receiving and in the return game.
