Slade Shufelt and Adonai Nava help Hillsboro run past St. Helens

Hillsboro 54, St. Helens 0: Slade Shufelt and Adonai Nava spearheaded the running game for the visiting Spartans, each posting a multi-touchdown game and eclipsing the 100-yard mark in the win over the Lions.

Shufelt’s efforts included a 60-plus-yard run in the second quarter, after Adonai went more than 30 yards on a tackle-breaking burst at the end of the first quarter.

Hillsboro’s defensive highlights included two takeaways and a goal-line stand in the third quarter.
