Blake Eaton throws a TD pass, kicks a FG to fuel Crater’s win over South Medford

Crater 9, South Medford 6: Blake Eaton kicked a 28-yard field goal late in the first half for the go-ahead points in the Comets’ victory over the host Panthers at Spiegelberg Stadium.

Eaton, in his first start as a varsity quarterback for the Central Point school, passed to Dawson Douglas for a touchdown that made it 6-6 in a game played in a continuous downpour.

Garrett Henderson’s 13-yard run provided South Medford with its points. He finished with 88 yards on 12 carries.
