Kaleb Moxley rushes for 2 TDs, Southridge defense pitches shutout at Forest Grove

Southridge 35, Forest Grove 0: One season after allowing an average of 51 points, the Skyhawks of Beaverton posted a shutout in their season opener.

Kaleb Moxley (two), Robert Marquez and Cypress Albright rushed for touchdowns for Southridge against the host Vikings.

With the score 14-0, Southridge recovered a Forest Grove fumble with three seconds remaining in the first half. JC Klee sat in the pocket and, just before being sacked, found Justin Lee in the far end of the end zone for a 21-0 halftime lead.

Forest Grove’s Shane Parrow had two sacks and three tackles for loss.
