Hoggard Vikings edges E.A. Laney Buccaneers 24-20 in North Carolina high school football game

Wilmington, NC - Hoggard High School Quarterback Gabe Johnson racked up 65 passing yards to help Hoggard Vikings to a 24-20 win over E.A. Laney Buccaneers on Friday night at Wilmington, NC in a high school football game.

The Vikings also received impressive efforts from Running back Jordan Rickey who rushed 12 times for 57 yards and 1 touchdown and Running back Kenneth Marshall who rushed 7 times for 46 yards.

E.A. Laney's Sherod Sidbury threw for 56 yards and Tre’yon Durant had 109 receiving yards.

The win helps Hoggard improve to 9-1 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
