WILMINGTON, NC - Hoggard Forward Marquese Higgins led all scorers with 15 points as the Vikings beat Ashley Screaming Eagle 51-47 in a game at Wilmington, NC.

Higgins' points came on 7 field goals and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Carter K added 13. Ashley fell to 0-1 overall while Hoggard improved their record to 8-2.
