WILMINGTON, NC - Hoggard Forward Jack Voth led all scorers with 16 points as the Vikings beat E.A. Laney Buccaneers 50-45 in a game at Wilmington, NC.

Voth's points came on 5 field goals and 6 of 9 free throws during the game.

Joshua Helms added 11. E.A. Laney fell to 0-2 overall while Hoggard improved their record to 12-4.

E.A. Laney's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Feb. 7 versus Hoggard. Hoggard will travel to Wilmington, NC on Friday Jan. 13 to play New Hanover.
