Grassroots basketball writer Frank Burlison joined Thursday’s episode of The Iso podcast with Dan Dickau to discuss COVID-19’s impact on the high school hoops scene and recruiting, how he approaches his job as an evaluator, why he thinks some AAU coaches are glorified “subbers,” AAU programs he’s most impressed with and more.

Burlison is a United state Basketball Writer’s Association hall of famer and founded and purveys the site Burlison on Basketball and was previously a longtime freelance sportswriter in southern California.
