The third week of the fall 2021 Montana high school football season was filled with big-time performances.
Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and best individual performances from Week 3 slate of games across the “Treasure State.”

MONTANA TOP STARS
Jase Applebee, Bozeman RB: Ran for 150 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries in the 17-9 victory over Custer Count in the Hawks 36-21 victory over Great Falls.
Jake Cassagranda, Bozeman QB: Threw for three touchdowns, completing 17 of 26 passes for 256 yards, in the Hawks 36-21 victory over Great Falls.
Michael Deleon, Billings West RB: Ran for 189 yards and three touchdowns on just 17 carries in a 42-14 victory over Gallatin.
Kaden Huot, Helena QB: Completed 23 of 46 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-20 loss to Butte.
Jacob Miller, Billings Senior RB: Ran for 91 yards and four touchdowns in the Broncs 69-0 victory over Skyview.
Jake Rendina, Glacier RB: Ran for 160 yards and four touchdowns on just 16 carries, averaging 10 yards a carry, in a 56-20 victory over Big Sky.
Tyson Rostad, Hamilton QB: Responsible for 291 total yards and five touchdowns, completing 19 of 30 passes for 213 yards and three TDs while rushing for an additional 78 yards and two scores on 12 carries in a 44-20 victory over Frenchtown.
Jackson Simonson, C M Russell RB: Accounted for 222 yards of total offense, rushing 17 times for 125 yards and a touchdown while catching three passes for an additional 97 yards in the Rustlers 48-0 victory over Belgrade.
Jace Stenson, Butte QB: Tossed four touchdowns in the Bulldogs 34-20 upset victory over No. 3 Helena.
Luke Sullivan, Helena Capital RB: Ran for 132 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries in the Bruins 57-0 victory over Flathead.
Cole Taylor, C M Russell QB: Completed 16 of 25 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns in the Rustlers 48-0 victory over Belgrade.
Jarrett Wilson, Polson QB: Threw for 247 yards and six touchdowns (tied with several others for second most in a game in Montana history a week after he threw a record-tying seven), completing 18 of 23 passes in a 63-0 victory over East Helena.
Bayson Zanto, Bozeman WR: Caught eight passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the Hawks 36-21 victory over Great Falls.
Tim Zohner, Hamilton RB: Found yards through the air and on the ground. He rushed the ball 11 times for 110 yards, caught five passes for 108 more yards and scored two touchdowns (one running, one reception) in a 44-20 victory over Frenchtown.
