Top stars, best performances in Week 9 of Missouri high school football

Blake Russell, Hollister, RB

Russell ran for 251 yards on 16 carries and punched in three touchdowns in Hollister’s 48-0 win over Springfield Catholic. 

Luke Gall, Carthage, RB

Gall ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns in Carthage’s 49-14 win over Nixa. 

Jackson House, St. James Academy, QB

House threw for 273 yards and two touchdowns and added 119 yards and a touchdown on the ground in a 45-28 win over Bishop Miege. 

Sean Carroll, St. Thomas Aquinas, RB

Carroll ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns in the 35-14 victory over Blue Valley North. 

Kyle Kleweno, Blue Valley, RB

Kleweno ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns in Blue Valley’s 42-14 win over Blue Valley Southwest. 

Jaxin Patterson, Hillsboro, RB

Patterson ran for 289 yards and one touchdown in the 45-19 win over Hillsboro. 

Mikey Pauley, Blue Valley Northwest, QB

Pauley did not do much damage through the air tallying only 84 yards, but dominated on the ground running for 109 yards and three touchdowns in the 21-0 shutout win over Blue Valley West. 

Caleb Larson, Grain Valley, QB

Larson threw for 182 yards and two scores and ran for 60 yards and two touchdowns. 

Reco Jenkins, Holden, RB

Jenkins ran for 117 yards and two touchdowns in a 34-6 victory over Knob Noster. 

Tanner Howes, Lee’s Summit North, RB

Howes ran for 78 yards and a touchdown and added 101 yards receiving in the 38-6 win over Lee’s Summit West. 

Axavier Reed, Marshall, RB

Reed ran for 138 yards and two touchdowns and added an interception on defense in a 30-0 win over Cameron. 

Caden Dennis, Liberty, RB

Dennis ran for 100 yards and a touchdown on only 4 carries and had 67 yards receiving in the game. 

Blake Heitman, Odessa, WR

Heitman had six catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the 55-14 win over Harrisonville. 

Zander Dombowski, Raymore-Peculiar, QB

Dombowski threw for 249 yards and five touchdowns in the 43-40 overtime win over Park Hill. 

Payton Hoker, Fort Zumwalt North, QB

Hoker threw for 305 yards and five touchdowns in the 42-20 win over Alton. 

Patrick Heitert, Christian Brothers, QB

Heitert threw for 432 yards and two touchdowns in the 48-21 win over Edwardsville.

Jett Bridges, Park Hills Central, QB

Bridges threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns in the 49-14 win over Farmington. 

Kannon Carr, Poplar Bluff, QB

Carr threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-19 loss to Hillsboro. 

Cole Ruble, Seckman, RB

Ruble ran for 253 yards and four touchdowns in the 42-7 victory over Parkway South. 

Jeremiah McClellan, Christian Brothers, WR

McClellan caught eleven passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns in the 48-21 win over Edwardsville.

Tyler Macon, Kirkwood, WR

Macon caught eight passes for 256 yards and two touchdowns in the thrilling 30-29 victory over Eureka.
