EAGLE STADIUM - Florence High School running back Xzavion Quick picked up 123 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to guide the Florence Eagles to a 36-0 win over the Wayne County War Eagles on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Eagles also received major efforts from quarterback Robert Reed who completed 4 passes for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns and linebacker Xavier Smith who rushed 5 times for 21 yards and 1 touchdown.

Wayne County's quarterback Jacob Bowles threw for 1 yard and wide receiver Sam Williams had 9 receiving yards.

The win helps Florence improve to 8-4 on the season while Wayne County falls to 3-8. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
