COUGAR FIELD - Brandon High School quarterback Landon Varnes picked up 194 passing yards and threw for 2 touchdowns to lead the Brandon Bulldogs to a 27-10 win over the Northwest Rankin Cougars on Thursday night at Flowood, MS in a high school football game.

The Bulldogs also received vital efforts from running back Nathaniel Blount Iv who rushed 15 times for 99 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Earnest Fultz who rushed 5 times for 77 yards.

Northwest Rankin's quarterback Wesley White threw for 63 yards and 1 touchdown, running back Dylan Lewis picked up 122 rushing yards and wide receiver De’shawn Dillon had 31 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
