COUGAR FIELD - Northwest Rankin High School quarterback Wesley White had 127 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help the Northwest Rankin Cougars to a 28-21 win over the Madison Central Jaguars on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Cougars also received major efforts from running back Dylan Lewis who rushed 22 times for 90 yards and 1 touchdown and defensive back Mickell Smith Iii who completed 1 pass for 50 yards and 1 touchdown.

Madison Central's quarterback Benjamin Picarella threw for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns, running back Glen Singleton picked up 175 rushing yards and athlete Jaiden Johnson had 109 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
