KING FIELD - Northwest Rankin High School quarterback Wesley White racked up 163 passing yards and threw for 3 touchdowns to lead the Northwest Rankin Cougars to a 41-19 win over the Brookhaven Panthers on Friday night in a high school football game.

The Cougars also received impressive efforts from running back Dylan Lewis who rushed 14 times for 64 yards and 1 touchdown and running back Hayden Jermany who rushed 7 times for 35 yards and 1 touchdown.

Brookhaven's quarterback Jaden Allen threw for 16 yards, running back Xavier Gayten picked up 172 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and wide receiver Jeremy Bibbs had 13 receiving yards.

The win helps Northwest Rankin improve to 4-1 on the season while Brookhaven falls to 2-3. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
