SBLIVE POWER 10 RANKINGS

Sept. 14, 2020

1. Starkville (2-0)

The Yellow Jackets struggled to get going, falling behind 14-10 at halftime, before rallying to beat Louisville. They host Meridian this week.

2. Oak Grove (2-0)

QB Kabe Barnett and Oak Grove poured it on, thumping Hattiesburg 66-27.  — GAME STORY

3. South Panola (2-0)

QB Anterrio Draper and the Tigers got their offense rolling in a 42-14 win over Meridian.

4. West Point (1-1)

West Point jumped out to a 21-0 halftime lead and held off Tupelo 24-14. They host Noxubee County this week.

5. West Jones (2-0)

The Mustangs used a goal-line stand late in the third period to propel them to an 18-2 win over Wayne County in the 28th meeting of these powerhouse Class 5A rivals.  — GAME STORY

6. Madison Central (2-0)

QB Tate Collins did just enough with his arm, completing 11 of 18 passes for 80 yards with the two touchdowns, but he put on a show with his legs, rushing 12 times for 141 yards and two scores in MC’s 35-7 win over Pearl. — GAME STORY

7. Neshoba Central (2-0)

RB Jarquez Hunter had three rushing TDs and a scoop and score on defense to lead the Rockets to a 49-14 win over West Lauderdale. — GAME STORY + PHOTOS

8. Picayune (2-0)

Picayune held off a furious second-half rally from Gulfport to post a 41-34 win. They host Poplarville this week.

9. D’Iberville (2-0)

The Warriors pulled out a 21-14 win over Poplarville. Now they turn their attention to George County.

10. Warren Central (2-0)

Warren Central moves into the Power 10 after a dominant 23-3 victory over Brandon. The Vikings held Brandon to 80 yards of offense.
