Each week, SBLive Idaho will update its all-classification top-10 high school football rankings.

Here is the Week 11 list – or weekend of the state quarterfinals – compiled by SBLive Idaho correspondent Brandon Walton:

1. MOUNTAIN VIEW (9-0)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts No. 7 Meridian in 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

The Mavericks likely needed the rest to prepare for Round 2 against the team that arguably gave them their toughest game to date.

2. RIGBY (8-1)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Capital in the 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

The Trojans will look to rebound following a much-needed bye after loss to Madison that saw their 23-game regular season streak snapped.

3. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (7-2)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts No. 5 Highland in 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

Will the reigning champs show they’re still factors even after a 20-point loss to rival Mountain View two weeks ago? These two teams kicked off 2021.

4. EAGLE (8-2)

Last week: Defeated Borah, 31-15.

This week: Travels to No. 6 Coeur d’Alene in 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

Mustangs made it six wins in a row, thanks largely to three turnovers. Now, they face North powerhouse for first time in five years (48-39 win in 2016).

5. HIGHLAND (8-2)

Last week: Defeated Skyview, 45-28.

This week: Travels to No. 3 Rocky Mountain in 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

Jack Whitmer had 250 yards of total offense and five touchdowns in win – and he will have to play at that level for Rams to snap three-game skid to Grizzlies.

6. COEUR D’ALENE (6-2)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts No. 4 Eagle in 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

Very well could be state game of the week as Vikings attempt to advance to their fifth consecutive state semifinal. Eagle was last team to halt that bid.

7. MERIDIAN (7-3)

Last week: Defeated Madison, 47-28

This week: Travels to No. 1 Mountain View in 5A quarterfinals Friday night.

8. HOMEDALE (9-0)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts South Fremont in 3A quarterfinals Saturday afternoon.

The Trojans’ quest to erase three years of heartache starts now, led by a potent rushing attack of RB Hayden Kincheloe and QB Jaxon Dines.

9. WEST SIDE (8-0)

Last week: First-round playoff bye.

This week: Hosts Grangeville in 2A quarterfinals Saturday afternoon.
