1. ROCKY MOUNTAIN (1-0)
Last week: Bye.

Grizzlies get early week off after defeating Highland (12-7). Will put 29-game 5A SIC winning streak on the line against the Mavericks on Friday.
2. RIGBY (1-0)
Last week: Defeated Sky View (Utah), 43-6.
This week: Hosts Post Falls on Friday night.
Dismantled two-time defending 4A champion from Utah behind big performance from QB Tiger Adolpho (287 passing yards, three TDs), defense.
3. EAGLE (1-0)
Last week: Defeated Bishop Kelly, 35-33.
This week: Travels to Kuna on Friday night.
Escaped after the Knights missed a last-second field goal, but the news wasn’t all good as RB Ethan Mikita is done for the season with a knee injury.
4. CAPITAL (1-0)
Last week: Defeated Nampa, 35-21.
This week: Travels to Owyhee on Friday night.
Best sign for Eagles was getting a healthy QB Max Clark (knee) going (299 passing yards, three TDs) after missing the team’s run in the postseason.
5. MOUNTAIN VIEW (1-0)
Last week: Defeated Meridian, 14-13.
This week: Travels to Rocky Mountain on Friday night.
Took care of business in time for “Battle of the Mountains” showdown with the Grizzlies. Can Mavericks hold up their preseason 5A SIC favorite status?
6. COUER D’ALENE (0-1)
Last week: Lost to Lehi (Utah), 33-7.
This week: Travels to Sandpoint on Friday night.
Vikings did not crack 100 yards and failed to score an offensive touchdown in their 2021 debut. Is it too early to panic? History says better days ahead.
7. HIGHLAND (1-1)
Last week: Defeated Alta (Utah), 26-13.
This week: Hosts Logan (Utah) on Friday night.
After close loss to Rocky Mountain, Rams bounce back with win in Rocky Mountain Rumble. WR Raimon Barela (TD catch in each game) going off.
8. MERIDIAN (0-1)
Last week: Lost to Mountain View, 14-13.
This week: Hosts Centennial on Friday night.
Missed a last-second field goal – and now possibly missing QB Malakai Martinez moving forward? Warriors’ mettle being tested early in 2021.
9. BISHOP KELLY (0-1)
Last week: Lost to Eagle, 35-33.
This week: Hosts Borah on Friday night.
RB Seth Knothe is the epitome of “workhorse” running back – 29 carries, 313 rushing yards, 56 receiving yards, five TDs (and eight tackles) in Week 1.
10. SKYLINE (0-1)
Last week: Lost to Green Canyon (Utah), 16-15.
This week: Travels to Thunder Ridge on Friday night.
Fluky way to drop a season opener – give up blocked punt, lose on last-second field goal . Reigning 4A champions will be just fine.
