Here are the candidates for the WaFd Bank Idaho High School Softball Player of the Week for March 29-April 4 as nominated by fans, readers and SBLive’s staff. THIS WEEK’S WAFD BANK SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES:

Emma Cluff, Rigby: Cluff threw a no-hitter, striking out 10, to lead Rigby to a 9-0 win over Madison.

Whitney Cordes, Weiser: Cordes had a big game on the mound and at the plate in a 13-0 win over McCall-Donnelly. She threw five scoreless innings and went 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Alyssa Ericsson, Soda Springs: Ericcson went 4-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs in a 10-5 loss to American Falls.

Lyndsie Larsen, Snake River: Larsen picked up the complete-game victory on the mound and roped two doubles at the plate to lead Snake River to a 9-2 win over South Fremont.

Marissa Mauger, Highland: Mauger had a remarkable week on the mound, throwing a five-inning no-hitter in a 16-0 win over Century, then pitching all 14 innings in a doubleheader sweep of Centennial.

Sami Taylor, Filer: Taylor pitched four scoreless innings and went 3-for-4 at the plate with a home run to lead Filer to a 10-0 win over Sugar-Salem.

Madi Vansickle, Highland: Vansickle roped four hits – including three doubles – and drove in eight runs to help lead Highland to doubleheader sweep of Centennial.

Cienna Walls, Lakeland: Walls roped seven hits – including a 4-for-4 performance in the second game – in Lakeland’s doubleheader split with Moscow.

Kimber Wieland, Blackfoot: Wieland threw a four-inning no-hitter, striking out eight, to lead Blackfoot to a 15-0 win over Skyline.

Grace Wontorcik, Capital: Wontorcik went 3-for-4 with a homer and five RBIs to help Capital to a 14-2 win over Centennial.
