Photos: Meridian boys basketball wins first Idaho state championship since 1992

NAMPA – McKay Anderson had 23 points and six rebounds to lead Meridian to a 68-54 win over Lake City in the Idaho 5A boys basketball state championship on Saturday at Idaho Ford Center.

Brody Rowbury added 13 points for the Warriors, who ended a 29-year state championship drought. Meridian’s last boys basketball title came in 1992.

Kolton Mitchell led Lake City with 15 points and five rebounds and Zach Johnson added 14 points.
