Photos: Marsh Valley beats McCall-Donnelly for first Idaho boys basketball state title since 1988

NAMPA – Cody Hansen had 14 points and six rebounds to lead Marsh Valley to a 58-51 win over McCall-Donnelly in the Idaho 3A boys basketball state championship game on Saturday at Ford Idaho Center.

Bracken Howell added 12 points for the Eagles, who won their first state title since 1988.

Marsh Valley turned in a remarkably efficient offensive performance, shooting 14 of 24 (58%) from inside the arc, 15 of 17 (88%) from the free throw line and committing just five turnovers.

DJ Green led McCall-Donnelly with 21 points and six rebounds.
