Photos: Lapwai wins its 11th Idaho boys basketball state championship

NAMPA – Led by the dynamic duo of Kase Wynott and Kross Taylor, the Lapwai boys basketball team captured its 11th Idaho state championship with an 82-60 win over Riverstone on Friday at the Ford Idaho Center.

Wynott had 23 points, five rebounds and three assists and Taylor added 22 points – including 7 of 14 from downtown – and five rebounds as the Wildcats outscored Riverstone 45-31 in the second half to run away with the victory.

Nick Liebich led Riverstone with 23 points and 13 rebounds and Ethan Hurt added 18 points.
