Photo gallery: Blackfoot edges Century to capture Idaho 4A girls basketball state championship

NAMPA – Praire Caldwell had 14 points and four assists to lead Blackfoot to a 50-46 win over Century on Saturday in the Idaho 4A girls basketball state championship game at Ford Idaho Center.

It’s the first state championship in school history for Blackfoot, who beat Skyline and Burley to get to the title game. Hadley Humpherys had 12 points and five rebounds for the Broncos, and Esperanza Vergara added 11 points.


Preslie Merrill led Century with 16 points and seven rebounds, and Ashton Adamson added 10 points and six rebounds.
