Photos: Naya Ojukwu erupts for 34 points to lead Mountain View over Timberline in Idaho 5A girls basketball quarterfinals

NAMPA – Naya Ojukwu put on a show Thursday night, scoring 34 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to lead Mountain View to a 65-52 win over Timberline in the Idaho 5A girls basketball state quarterfinals.

Ojukwu, a 6-foot-1 junior who has offers from Michigan, UCLA, Syracuse and many other top programs, was 14-of-24 from the field and 6-of-9 from the free throw line.

Sophie Glancey led Timberline with 23 points and 9 rebounds.

Mountain View will play Rigby in the 5A semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m. Timberline will play Post Falls in the 5A consolation bracket at 7 p.m.
