Vallivue’s Jacob Martinez voted the WaFd Bank Idaho High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week

Congratulations to Vallivue junior Jacob Martinez for being voted SBLive’s WaFd Bank Idaho High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week!

Martinez finished with a game-high 30 points in a narrow 66-63 win over Preston, reports The Idaho Press.

Martinez received 73.33% of the vote, beating out Thunder Ridge’s Lloyer Driggs who finished second with 26.67%.

Max Myers, Compass Charter: Scored 21 points to lead Compass Charter to a win over North Star Charter on Tuesday, reports The Idaho Press.

Lloyer Driggs, Thunder Ridge: Hit a long 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift Thunder Ridge over Lake City at the Doug Andrus Holiday Basketball Tournament, reports The Idaho Falls Post Register. Driggs finished with 26 points. He also had 28 points in a win over Coeur d’Alene on Wednesday and a 29-point outing in a win over Star Valley Monday.

Tag Bair, South Fremont: Scored 20 points in a comfortable win over Salmon, according to The Idaho Falls Post Register.

Cooper Kesler, Hillcrest: Dropped 23 points in a lopsided win over Bonneville, per The Idaho Falls Post Register.

Alex Horning, Post Falls: Scored 19 points in a narrow win over Pocatello, reports The Coeur d’Alene Press.
