1. COEUR D’ALENE, 7-0 (5A) beat No. 9 Post Falls, 30-14

Wind, rain, sleet, snow – or opposing defenses – cannot stifle Viks’ high-powered offense.

2. ROCKY MOUNTAIN, 6-0 (5A) beat then-No. 6 Capital, 49-13

With third consecutive 5A SIC title in hand, Griz may never leave Boise area rest of way.

3. RIGBY, 8-0 (5A) beat Madison, 56-6

Reigning 5A champions feeling so good, even OL Ricky Soliai getting in on rushing TDs.

4. EAGLE, 5-1 (5A) beat Centennial, 48-6

Other 5A contenders getting lots of attention, but Mustangs winning while laying in weeds.

5. HIGHLAND, 7-2 (5A) beat Idaho Falls, 61-19

Doesn’t matter where Easton Durham plays (QB/WR), he is Rams’ most vital performer.

Up next: Friday vs. No. 10 Meridian (Iron Horse Stadium), 7 p.m.

6. SKYLINE, 8-1 (4A) beat Shelley, 44-7

Since Rigby loss, 4A tournament’s overall top seed has outscored opponents, 226-49, in six games.

Up next: Friday vs. Twin Falls (at Madison HS), 7 p.m.

7. BISHOP KELLY, 6-1 (4A) beat Ridgevue, 54-7

Knights were nudged out for 4A SIC title by Emmett, but who wants to face motivated No. 6 seeds now?

Up next: Friday vs. Pocatello, 7 p.m.

8. CAPITAL, 4-1 (5A) lost to No. 2 Rocky Mountain, 49-13

Eagles get week off to fine tune things moving forward, but road gets tough in a hurry.

9. POST FALLS, 5-3 (5A) lost to No. 1 Coeur d’Alene, 30-14

All of their losses are to two teams that played for 5A title a year ago. Yes, Trojans are legit.

10. MERIDIAN, 4-2 (5A) beat Borah, 33-0

Warriors’ defense shuts out Lions (four turnovers, 219 yards) in tune-up before postseason.
