KERKHOVEN - Canby's Kalleigh Carr led the way with 8 points as the Lancers beat Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints 52-39 in a game at Kerkhoven.

Carr's points came on 8 of 8 free throws during the game.

Josie Gjerde added 11. Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg fell to 0-1 overall while Canby improved their record to 1-0.

Kerkhoven Murdock Sunburg's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Jan. 18 versus Lakeview. Canby will travel to on Monday Jan. 18 to play Lac Qui Parle Valley.
