NEWPORT CHRISTIAN - Newport Christian School Guard Abbi Bowman led all scorers with 23 points as the Seahawks beat New Roads Jaguars 57-28 in a game at Newport Christian.

Bowman's points came on 9 field goals and 5 of 8 free throws during the game.

Rose X added 5. New Roads fell to 0-1 overall while Newport Christian School improved their record to 6-3.

New Roads' next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Dec. 13 at 12:00am versus California Academy Of Math & Science. Newport Christian School will host Rancho Christian on Monday Dec. 9 at 3:00pm.
