TAFT HIGH SCHOOL - Taft's Sophia S led all scorers with 17 points as the Toreadors beat Arleta Mustangs 38-14 in a game at Taft High School.

Emily Cruz added 6. Arleta fell to 2-7 overall while Taft improved their record to 3-0.

Arleta's next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 22 at 2:30pm versus Grant. Taft will travel to on Wednesday Jan. 22 at 2:00pm to play Granada Hills Charter.
