Mt. Pisgah wins Georgia boys basketball state title on incredible buzzer-beater by Kasheem Grady

Down by eight points with just over two minutes to play, Mount Pisgah went on an incredible run, capped by Kasheem “Kash” Grady’s 19-footer at the buzzer, to beat Holy Innocents’ 43-41 in the GHSA Class A Private boys basketball state championship on Wednesday at the Macon Coliseum.

With the game tied at 41-41 and Holy Innocents’ playing for the final shot, Grady stripped the ball, dribbled to the other end of the court and pulled up in traffic from the right wing. The ball swished through the net at the buzzer.

Here it is from another angle:

Grady, a junior, finished the game with eight points. Nate Gordon led Mt. Pisgah with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
