SBLive Washington podcast: Have the roles of WIAA, state coaches associations changed during the pandemic?

High school sports have not been sanctioned to play in Washington in more than nine months due to the coronavirus. Bot the length and uncertainty of the shutdown have resulted in the WIAA and state coaches associations reexamining their roles as advocates for the students getting opportunities to play.

The latest episode of the SBLive Washington podcast, released Thursday, examines that very topic, as well as the possibility of an on-court mask mandate potentially lowering the risk level for basketball, as determined by the state department of health.
