CHEWELAH - Mary Walker High School Running back Eathan Penland had 220 rushing yards and scored 4 touchdowns to guide Mary Walker Chargers to a 46-12 win over Wellpinit Redskins on Thursday night at Chewelah in a high school football game.

The Chargers also received impressive efforts from Running back Cory Hubert who rushed 5 times for 105 yards and 1 touchdown and Fullback Tyrell Crossley who rushed 15 times for 99 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Wellpinit's Brendan Andrew threw for 33 yards and Gabe Salinas-Kiefer picked up 68 rushing yards and 1 touchdown.

The win helps Mary Walker improve to 5-5 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
