DESOTO CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL - De Soto Central High School Quarterback Jason Curry racked up 138 passing yards and threw for 1 touchdown to help DeSoto Central Jaguars to a 27-21 win over Pontotoc Warriors on Friday night in a high school football game.
The Jaguars also received impressive efforts from Wide Receiver Branson Tita Nwa who caught 5 passes for 115 yards and Running Back Marquis Fields who rushed 11 times for 99 yards and 1 touchdown.
Pontotoc's Quarterback Conner Armstrong threw for 85 yards and 1 touchdown, Running Back Jordan Ball picked up 95 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and Wide Receiver Cade Armstrong had 66 receiving yards.

The win helps DeSoto Central improve to 1-1 on the season while Pontotoc falls to 1-1. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
