MICKEY NAISH - RB Sam Adams racked up 97 rushing yards and scored 2 touchdowns to help Eastside Catholic to a 44-17 win over Bishop Blanchet on Friday night.

The Crusaders also received impressive efforts from QB Michael Franklin who completed 9 passes for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns and RB Giovanni Ursino who rushed 12 times for 54 yards.

Bishop Blanchet's QB Alex Johnson threw for 170 yards, DB Luke Gardner picked up 41 rushing yards and 1 touchdown and WR Kurtis Delen had 41 receiving yards.

With the loss, Bishop Blanchet falls to 5-3 on the season. Tonight’s game was the first matchup between the two teams.
