Here are the candidates for the Scorebook Live Southern California girls basketball player of the week for Feb. 17-23 as nominated by fans, readers and Scorebook Live’s staff. Read through the nominees and cast your vote at the bottom of the page. Players from the Southern, LA City and San Diego Sections are considered. Voting will conclude on Thursday at 11:59 p.m and the winner will be announced Friday morning. Justina Graham, Carson: Graham led the way for Carson, scoring 29 points in a 66-65 win over Birmingham.

Kennedee Rankin, Hamilton: Rankin poured in 28 points for Hamilton as they defeated El Camino Real 60-38.

Jayda Curry, Centennial: Curry put up 28 points and snagged 13 boards in Centennial’s 67-58 win over Long Beach Poly.

Isuneh Brady, Cathedral Catholic: Brady put up an impressive double-double of 27 points, 24 rebounds to help Cathedral Catholic defeat Christian 66-52.



Sylena Peterson, Bonita Vista: Peterson finished with 26 points and 7 boards in Bonita Vista’s 57-56 victory against La Costa Canyon.

Meaali’i Amosa, Mater Dei: Amosa finished with a double-double of 13 points, 18 rebounds in Mater Dei’s 61-60 win over Sierra Canyon.

Kiki Iriafen, Harvard-Westlake: Iriafen’s 31 points led Harvard-Westlake to a 64-49 victory against West.
