The CIF Southern Section released their 2020 high school basketball playoff brackets on Sunday. The eight Open Division teams are Sierra Canyon, Corona Centennial, Rancho Christian, Etiwanda, St. Anthony, Harvard-Westlake, Mater Dei and St. John Bosco.
The Open Division tournament is a round robin format with the eight teams split up into two pools. The pools are shown below. The winner of each pool advances to the championship game.

Boston has committed to Kentucky. He’s been Sierra Canyon’s most consistent player this season.
Williams is one of the top uncommitted players in the 2020 class nationally. He was named a McDonald’s All American last month.
Bailey is one of the top sophomores in the nation. He was a UCLA commit for a few months, but de-pledged following the coaching change at the school.
Dawson is committed to Portland State. He’s having a tremendous senior season.
McCain is one of the top freshmen in the region. He hit nine threes in a game against Eastvale Roosevelt this season.
Mobley is a consensus top five player nationally in the 2020 class. He’s committed to USC.
Harris, a 6-foot-4 guard, is committed to Gonzaga.
Clark is committed to UCLA.
Mashack is one of the top juniors in the region. He has four scholarship offers.
Jones is committed to Long Beach State. Like Paris Dawson, Jones has had a tremendous senior year.
Hooks is committed to Princeton. He scored 35 points and grabbed 15 boards in a Mission League Tournament semifinal win over Alemany last week.
Askew is committed to Kentucky. He’s leaving Mater Dei a year early to enroll.
Hornery is committed to USC. He’s a junior.
Breidenbach is one of the top junior centers in the region. He’s a solid post player who can also shoot threes.
Brown is committed to Northern Arizona. He scored 23 points in a loss to Mater Dei last week.
