1. Mater Dei (9-0) beat No. 2 St. John Bosco 38-24

Up next: Host JSerra, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.

2. St. John Bosco (8-1) lost to No. 1 Mater Dei 38-24

Despite playing with a high ankle sprain, St. John Bosco QB D.J. Uiagalelei threw for 312 yards and two TDs in the loss to Mater Dei.

3. Mission Viejo (9-0) beat No. 22 San Clemente 38-6

Linebacker Easton Mascarenas returned an interception 54 yards for a touchdown and scored again on a two-yard TD run in Mission Viejo’s win over San Clemente.

4. Helix (8-1) beat Granite Hills 49-27

5. Cathedral Catholic (8-1) bye week

6. Corona Centennial (7-2) beat King 42-0

Up next: At Roosevelt, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.

7. Narbonne (9-0) beat Carson 52-3

Up next: Host Banning, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.

8. Servite (6-3) beat Santa Margarita 27-0

Junior running back Kyle Bandy rushed 17 times for 154 yards — both season highs — and a touchdown to lead Servite over Santa Margarita.

9. Corona del Mar (9-0) beat Newport Harbor 56-17

Washington commit Ethan Garbers was 20-of-30 for 353 yards and four TDs — plus two more TDs on the ground — in Corona del Mar’s win over Newport Harbor.

10. JSerra (6-3) beat Orange Lutheran 19-0

Up next: At Mater Dei, Nov. 1, 7 p.m.

11. Bishop Amat (8-1) beat No. 25 Notre Dame 35-21

Cal commit Damien Moore rushed for 165 yards and scored four touchdowns — three rushing, once receiving — in Bishop Amat’s 35-21 win over Notre Dame.

12. Calabasas (7-2) beat Oaks Christian 30-27

Cal commit Jaden Casey was 19-of-31 passing for 331 yards and two touchdowns in Calabasas’ win over Oaks Christian. He also ran for two touchdowns.

13. Sierra Canyon (8-1) beat No. 8 Grace Brethren 13-7

Sierra Canyon QB Chayden Peery was 23-of-32 passing for 328 yards and a touchdown in Sierra Canyon’s 13-7 upset of Grace Brethren.

    If Scorebook is the official CIF Rankings then why is Mission Viejo seated below Corona Centennial in the playoff bracket?
