THREE TO SEE
Andre Bray, WR/CB
Seven INTs last season and two TD catches.
Anthony Spearman, RB
Was used in short-yardage situations last year and scored seven TDs. He’ll replace Christian Grubb (UCLA) as the team’s starting running back this season.
Cooper Meek, QB
Won the starting job three games into 2018 and hasn’t looked back. Solid game manager a season ago. Look for Meek to take a step forward in 2019 with a year of experience under his belt.
Kevin Rooney has a great team in his 40th season at Notre Dame. The Knights are Mission League favorites and could take one of the last Division 1 playoff spots.
Bringing back nine defensive starters and a starting quarterback is a luxury few teams have.
