Martinez scored 29 points and had the game-winning assist in the Lion’s 55-54 win over St. John Bosco.
Martinez received 63.26% of the vote, beating out Taft’s R. Lloyd Jr who finished with 34.63%.

Christopher Hammond, Campbell Hall: Hammond had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds to go along with 3 assists and 3 blocks in Campbell Hall’s 56-61 loss to Providence.
Tajavis Miller, Servite: Miller was on fire, scoring 40 points in Servite’s thriller OT loss to St. John Bosco.
AJ Burgin, San Diego: Burgin records a triple-double with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 71-50 victory against Point Loma.
BJ Boston, Sierra Canyon: Boston dropped 30 points in Sierra Canyon’s 78-62 win against Rancho Christian.
Kunal Bagga, Servite: Bagga netted 31 points in Servite’s 74-44 win over Glendora.
Rudy Suarez, Covina: Suarez put up 31 points to go along with 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals in the Colts’ win against Rowland, 69-58.
Clark Slajchert, Oak Park: Slajchert scored 32 points and had 7 dimes in Oak Park’s 84-59 win over Troy.
Ivis Hernandez, Grant: Hernandez put up 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in Grant’s 70-66 victory over Highland.
R. Lloyd Jr., Taft: Lloyd netted 32 points in Taft’s 71-64 win against Santa Clarita Christian.
