Here are Scorebook Live’s final Top 25 California high school boys basketball rankings for the 2019-2020 season. Our rankings encompass the entire state and are compiled by Scorebook Live California reporters Connor Morrissette, Bodie DeSilva and Lance Smith.

FINAL 2019-2020 TOP 25 CALIFORNIA BOYS BASKETBALL RANKINGS

1. Sierra Canyon (30-4)

The Southern Section Open Division and CIF State regional Open Division champions finish the year at number one.

2. Etiwanda (30-4)

Etiwanda lost four games all season with three coming against Sierra Canyon. The Eagles were the biggest postseason challengers to the Trailblazers.

3. Mater Dei (25-8)

Mater Dei fell to Sierra Canyon in the Southern Section Open Division championship 59-48.

4. Sheldon (28-5)

Sheldon won the Division 1 CIF Sac-Joaquin Section championship, but never got a chance to defend their CIF State Open Division regional championship because of the coronavirus.

5. Harvard-Westlake (25-7)

Harvard-Westlake won the Mission League tournament title and beat Corona Centennial three times this season.

6. Corona Centennial (27-5)

Corona Centennial defied expectations this and entered the Southern Section Open Division playoffs as the number two seed.

7. Rancho Christian (22-8)

The Eagles made the Southern Section Open Division playoffs, but lost their final three games of the year.

8. Ribet Academy (30-3)

Ribet Academy won the Division 2A championship in the Southern Section and the CIF State Division 1 regional championship.

9. St. John Bosco (23-9)

St. John Bosco was the No. 8 seed in the Southern Section Open Division playoffs.

10. Santa Clarita Christian (24-6)

Santa Clarita Christian won the Division 2AA Southern Section championship.

11. Windward (28-8)

Windward won the Southern Section Division 1 championship.

12. Damien (26-9)

Damien was a Division 1 Southern Section semifinalist. They beat Riverside Poly 128-123 in six overtimes in the Division 1 state playoff quarterfinals.

13. Riverside Poly (27-7)

Riverside Poly was the Southern Section Division 1 runner up.

14. St. Anthony (26-6)

St. Anthony made the Open Division playoffs in the Southern Section, but struggled in the postseason losing all four games.

15. Renaissance Academy (27-10)

Renaissance Academy won the Division 4AA championship in the Southern Section and then made a run to the title game of the CIF State Division 1 playoffs.

16. JSerra (25-9)

JSerra was a Division 1 semifinalist in the Southern Section playoffs and a Division 1 quarterfinalist in the Division 1 CIF State playoffs.

17. Westchester (22-10)

Westchester won the Open Division title in the LA City Section.

18. Bishop O’Dowd (23-7)

Bishop O’Dowd won the CIF North Coast Section Open Division title. Their CIF State Open Division run was cut short by the coronavirus. O’Dowd was scheduled to play Sheldon in the regional final, but the game was cancelled.

19. Archbishop Mitty (23-5)

Archbishop Mitty won the CIF Central Coast Section Open Division title.

21. Cathedral Catholic (24-8)

Cathedral Catholic won the Open Division title in the San Diego Section.

20. Torrey Pines (27-6)

Torrey Pines was the runner up in the San Diego Section Open Division.

22. Fairfax (26-6)

Fairfax fell to Westchester in the LA City Section Open Division championship.

23. Dublin (24-7)

Dublin lost to Bishop O’Dowd in the CIF North Coast Section Open Division title game.

24. Bellarmine College Prep (23-5)

Bellarmine College Prep lost to Archbishop Mitty in the CIF Central Coast Section Open Division.

25. Archbishop Riordan (23-5)

Archbishop Riordan lost to St. Francis in the first round of the CIF Central Coast Section playoffs. They advanced to the CIF State Division 1 regional semifinals, where they were supposed to play De La Salle, but they had to forfeit due to coronavirus concerns.
