Mission Bay Buccaneers edges Mayfair Monsoons 69-65 in California basketball game

Mission Bay - Mission Bay's Rejean (Boogie) Ellis led the way with 21 points as the Buccaneers beat Mayfair Monsoons 69-65 in a game.

Ellis' points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 6 of 6 free throws during the game.

Josh Christopher added 20. Mayfair fell to 0-1 overall while Mission Bay improved their record to 11-6.

Mayfair's next game is scheduled to be played at Orange Lutheran on Monday Jan. 21 at 3:15pm versus Mission Bay. Mission Bay will host Mayfair on Monday Jan. 21 at 3:15pm.
