La Jolla Vikings defeat Otay Ranch Mustangs 61-49 in California high school basketball game

Otay Ranch - La Jolla's Behzad Hashemi led the way with 24 points as the Vikings beat Otay Ranch Mustangs 61-49 in a game.

Hashemi's points came on 4 field goals, 2 three pointers and 10 of 10 free throws during the game.

Jamal Ranson added 11. while La Jolla improved their record to 4-5.

La Jolla will travel to on Wednesday Dec. 12 at 8:00pm to play Mater Dei Catholic.
