El Camino defensive back Marquis Bell voted best defensive player in San Diego’s Avocado League

Last week, we asked California high school football fans to vote for the best defensive player in San Diego’s Avocado League. There were 11 different defensive stars from schools in the Avocado League included in the poll.

El Camino senior defensive back Marquis Bell won the poll with over 27,000 votes. He’s been a key piece for the Wildcats secondary the past couple seasons. El Camino defensive lineman Mackavelli Malotumau was second in the voting with over 11,000 votes.
