Look: St. John Bosco explosive on offense, takes first-half lead over top-ranked Mater Dei

BELLFLOWER, Calif. – The No. 1 high school football team in the country has its hands full.

St. John Bosco quarterback Katin Houser connected with Colin Chase on a 48-yard touchdown pass to give the Braves a 14-7 lead over top-ranked Mater Dei with 7:46 left in the first half.

After Mater Dei tied it at 14-14, the Braves struck right back on a 14-yard TD pass from Pierce Clarkson to Chedon James to take a 21-14 lead with 2:25 left in the first half.
