The sixth week of the LA City Section high school football season took place this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know.

No. 1 San Pedro took down Heritage 21-16. The Pirates will play No. 2 Banning this week.

No. 2 Banning beat El Camino Real 56-13. Jakob Galloway rushed for 240 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. He also had two catches for 59 yards and one touchdown.

No. 3 Palisades knocked off Brentwood 42-24. Daniel Anoh had 292 rushing yards and four TDs in the victory.

No. 4 Birmingham lost to Oaks Christian 44-0.

No. 5 Garfield beat South East 55-7. Freshman Robert Sanchez rushed for three touchdowns.

No. 6 Venice lost to Paramount 6-0.

No. 7 Kennedy fell to Reseda 21-13. Jerry McGee caught a TD and had two interceptions for the Regents.

No. 10 Roosevelt beat Huntington Park 38-13. Alex Arroyo rushed for three scores and Julian Quezada added two more TDs on the ground.

In other games, Franklin beat Crenshaw 46-35.

In Canoga Park’s 41-0 win over San Fernando. Kayden Collins had 11 carries for 203 yards and four TDs.

Arleta beat Monroe 41-0. Kelvin Duran rushed for four TDs.

Fremont took down Marshall 40-16. Justin Lopez rushed for a TD in the defeat for the Barristers.

Dorsey beat Jefferson 56-0. South Gate won against Bell 36-0. Dymally took down Manual Arts 52-0. Marquez beat View Park 40-13. Washington Prep knocked off Rivera 42-0. Verdugo Hills beat Van Nuys 34-8. Grant won over Chavez 19-12. Panorama took down Sylmar 21-0. Taft beat Contreras 35-27. Santee blanked Hollywood 48-0. North Hollywood beat up Poly 52-13. South Gate shutout Bell 36-0. MACES took down Torres 22-6. Bernstein won against Dr. Maya Angelou Community 22-14. Mendez beat Roybal 32-12.

Gardena lost to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy 63-0. LA High fell to Morningside 28-22.
