The fifth week of the LA City Section high school football season took place this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know.

No. 1 San Pedro beat Dorsey 41-6. Aidan Jackson threw for four touchdowns on 15 of 24 passing for 203 yards. 

No. 2 Banning lost to Palos Verdes 27-21. The Pilots trailed 27-7, but fought back before eventually losing by a touchdown.

No. 5 Garfield moved to 5-0 with a 49-0 win over Bell. Jacob Ramos caught two touchdowns in the win.

No. 7 Eagle Rock fell to No. 10 Granada Hills 16-13. The Highlanders led 16-0 after three quarters.

No. 8 Kennedy improved to 5-0 with a 41-0 win over Van Nuys.

No. 9 Lincoln beat Mendez 57-8 to also move to 5-0. Andre Watkins had seven carries for 118 yards and three touchdowns.

Roosevelt improved to 4-1 after beating Legacy 48-0. Eddie German rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns.

Franklin took down Narbonne 63-7. Isaiah Diaz threw five touchdown passes.

Arleta won its third game in a row 13-0 against North Hollywood. Ross Cajucom rushed for a touchdown in the victory.

Canoga Park won its first game of the year 35-14 against Panorama. Kayden Collins rushed for three touchdowns.

Contreras took down Beverly Hills 40-0. Mathew Johnson rushed for 178 yards and three touchdowns.

Wilson beat MACES 53-20.

Cleveland beat Hollywood 54-0. Reseda took down San Fernando 49-0. Huntington Park beat South East 28-20. Crenshaw won against Taft 42-7. Dymally blanked Rivera 38-0. Chavez beat Poly 24-14. Westchester beat Jefferson 42-6. University took down Belmont 35-0. View Park beat Marshall 26-0. Marquez won against Torres 40-6. Fremont beat LA High 42-12. Verdugo Hills beat Monroe 24-14. New Designs Watts beat Bernstein 18-16. Sylmar shutout Morningside to win 20-0.

Carson fell to Gardena Serra 54-0. Heritage Christian beat Chatsworth 19-7. Gardena lost to Torrance 48-8. Manual Arts fell to Lynwood 37-34. Dr. Maya Angelou Community lost to Hoover 14-0.
