Last week, we asked LA City Section high school football fans to vote for the best player in the Section. The options were Birmingham senior receiver and defensive end Arlis Boardingham, Granada Hills junior running back Dijon Stanley and Banning senior running back Jakob Galloway.
Galloway won the poll with over 9,000 votes. As a junior, the San Jose State commit averaged 10.6 yards per carry and scored six touchdowns in two games. As a sophomore, Galloway finished the season with 1,300 rushing yards, 21 TDs and 53 tackles on defense at linebacker.
