High school football is now in full swing in California, and Week 2 featured several standout performances across Northern California.
Several teams in SBLive’s Top 25 statewide rankings had big games in Week 2, including No. 6 Serra defeating No. 21 Valley Christian 33-26. No. 11 Folsom defeated Granite Bay 35-25 and No. 17 Central (Fresno) outdueled Clovis 35-31.
Here’s a quick look at some of the top stars and memorable performances from the second week of contests.

TOP NORCAL FOOTBLL STARS IN WEEK 2
Dominique Lampkin, San Mateo Serra QB
Lampkin completed 15 of 23 passes for four touchdowns and 224 yards, and added 79 rushing yards in a 33-26 win over San Jose Valley Christian.
Hassan Mahasin, Serra WR
Mahasin was Lampkin’s top target with 115 yards and two touchdowns receiving.
Jurrion Dickey, Valley Christian WR
Dickey helped Valley Christian nearly knock off the Padres, catching for two touchdowns and over 100 yards.
Adam Garwood, Los Gatos RB
Garwood led the Wildcats to a 45-0 blowout win over Milpitas with four rushing touchdowns, including three in the first quarter alone. Kyle Pinkham also had two first-half rushing touchdowns.
DJ Stevenson, Central (Fresno) QB
After the Grizzlies trailed 21-0, Stevenson led Central to a narrow 35-31 win over Clovis with 171 yards and two touchdowns passing plus 97 yards and two touchdowns rushing.
Tristan Risley, Clovis RB
Risley nearly lifted the Cougars over the reigning section champ with 169 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Darian Leon-Guerrero, Vacaville RB
Leon-Guerrero ran for 171 yards and all four of Vacaville’s touchdowns in a 28-21 win over Davis.
Tyler Tremain, Folsom QB
Tremain threw for four touchdowns and ran for another in a 35-25 win over Granite Bay.
Ethan Menezes, Vista Del Lago RB
Menezes erupted for five touchdowns and 228 yards on the ground in a 63-6 blowout over El Camino.
Michael Ingrassia, Marin Catholic QB
Ingrassia led MC to a 35-0 rout of San Marin with 374 yards and three touchdowns in the air.
John Krepps, Marin Catholic WR
Krepps was Ingrassia’s top target, finishing with 155 yards and two touchdowns.
Charles McBride, Marin Catholic DE
McBride led MC’s dominant defensive effort with 2.5 sacks.
Isaiah Hidalgo, Central Valley QB
Hidalgo ran for three touchdowns and had a passing touchdown in a 42-6 win over Johansen.
Jackson Holt, Oakdale QB
Holt threw for 263 yards and a touchdown in a 38-35 win over Escalon.
Ty Harris, Escalon QB
Harris nearly led Escalon to a wild fourth quarter comeback victory with 283 yards and three touchdowns passing.
Luke Anderson, Escalon RB
Anderson ran for three touchdowns and 90 yards.
Elias Mullican, Rocklin RB
In a 29-21 win over Del Oro, Mullican turned just five carries into 135 yards and a touchdown. He also had two receptions for 31 yards and a touchdown.
Mason Davies, Mountain View RB
Davies ran for three touchdowns including a 75-yard dash in a 40-7 win over Santa Clara.
Rolondo Holmes, Tulare Western RB
In a 36-24 win over Mission Oak, Holmes turned five carries into three touchdowns and 100 yards, and also had an 80-yard receiving touchdown.
Mikey Ficher, Tulare Western RB/FS
Ficher ran for 178 yards and a touchdown on offense. He also led the Mustangs on defense with an interception and a deflection that another Mustang caught for an interception.
Michael Iriye, Mission Oak QB
Iriye threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns, and ran for 156 yards and another TD.
Nicholas Coronado, Kimball QB
Kimball nearly knocked off Manteca in a 44-38 loss, as Coronado completed 29 of 47 passes for 335 yards and four touchdowns. He also had 56 rushing yards.
Noah McNeil-Franklin & Bobby Brooks, St. Patrick-St. Vincent RBs
McNeil-Franklin and Brooks combined for 331 yards and three touchdowns rushing in a 28-7 win over College Park.
Hudson Beers, Justin-Siena QB
Beers led Justin-Siena to a 38-14 win over Sonoma Valley with five passing touchdowns.
Caden Parlett, Justin-Siena RB/WR
Parlett was the recipient of five of Beers’ touchdown passes.
Dylan Smith, Vintage RB
Smith ran for 196 yards and two touchdowns on just seven carries in a 57-0 blowout of Petaluma.
Shavon Gramps-Green, Biggs RB/DB
Green ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns in 52-8 win over Los Molinos, and also recovered a fumble on defense. Parker Finley also ran for two touchdowns for the Wolverines.
Dominic Barrera, St. Mary’s (Stockton) QB
Barrera threw for three touchdowns in a 43-20 win over Jesuit.
Max Rascon, St. Mary’s (Stockton) LB
Rascon recovered two fumbles, one of which he returned 76 yards for a touchdown.
Chris Lands, Monterey Trail RB
Lands ran for two touchdowns and 113 yards on just eight carries in a 34-7 win over Woodcreek.
